I've owned this Champion 2000 juicer for 8 years, and have never had a problem. Of course, I only juice apples, oranges, carrots, grapefruit, ginger, and beets, so I do not know how stuff like spinach, broccoli, wheatgrass, and the sort turn out. Clean up involves brushing off 5 parts, which takes about one minute. Just buy a nylon bristle brush, make sure to use only warm water (never hot so as not to mis-shape the pieces), and clean immediately after use. To give you an idea of how economical this machine is, and juicing in general: yesterday, I bought an 18-pound bag of Texas Rio Red grapefruit for $6. There were 21 grapefruit, large and very juicy. I used 4 this morning to make three large beer mug-size glasses. That is 29 cents times 4, for a total of $1.20, approximately. $1.20 divided by 3 glasses is 40 cents. Very good compared to $3 or $4 at a juice shop, where they are normally adding apple juice from concentrate or ice. I just hope my Champion 2000 Juicer goes 27 years like the other reviewer's.
